Grateful Gifts

Hey friends, November is here! Put on your comfy pants, grab a blanket, and get cozy. It’s sweater weather (yes, it gets cold here in Hawaiʻi). Who’s ready for holiday binge eating on the couch? It’s also a time to reflect and give thanks.

Have you tried doing a daily gratitude journal? There are many different ways of journaling. A gratitude journal is one. There are even apps to make practicing gratitude convenient from your phone and easy to turn into a habit. I’m going to try it!

Practicing gratitude improves happiness and well-being. It’s also the perfect way to create a positive mindset and break negative thoughts. Let’s face it, life can get messy! Journaling can boost your mood and spirit. Woo-hoo!

A beautiful handmade tropical notebook is the perfect gratitude gift.

There’s no right or wrong way to journal. Here are a few tips I read about to help you get started:

  • Dedicate a regular time to journal
  • Write or list up to 5 things you’re grateful for —small or big e.g. a good event, experience, person, or thing
  • Enjoy the good feelings that come with it and have fun!

“I’m grateful for my co-workers. I work with really nice people. They bring in snacks and chocolate. Like the yummy cranberry walnut bread — I ate two slices!”

Happy journaling,

Rhonda Ann
